“Nowhere man” is a nameless and without specific belonging wonderer. He knows
that whatever he does, will end badly, therefore he does nothing, and he expects
nothing. He has no wife, and he has no dog, except of a tiny cynical (talking) mouse
as a best friend (sometimes it’s hard to tell which is the pet of whom), which
accompanies him through his adventures.
Nowhere man reflects “the eternal loser’s viewpoint on the cold and alienated world
in which we live. No one has patience to him, no one understands him, yet he doesn’t
despair. He wanders from a one job interview to another (and never gets the job).
He knows that he is ugly, yet he still tries (unsuccessfully) to make a girl he likes to
fall in love with him, and despite his position at the bottom of the social ladder he
would not stop fighting social mischief. All through the plot "Nowhere" man is
getting beaten by life from every direction, but in his own unique way he manage to
see the positive aspect of each?
